As soon as VT figured out the refs weren't going to call pass interference today they just started holding our wrs on every play.

It killed us bc even the few that got called negated deep balls and only gave us 15yds.

Vt had the master gameplan. We run deep routes, they grab the wr and if it gets called they save 20 yards.

Our oline was just atrocious though they sabotaged nearly every drive from the 2Q on.

College needs to update their rules though so teams like VT can't just do that every play. Spot of the foul would have made that a win

Our running game fucked us pretty hard too. Is their DL that good, or is our OL that bad?

Whoever was calling those run plays needs to have their head examined, we needed to try to win the game. Stats shouldn't be a part of the decision making, who cares how many carries someone gets if we win?

You just can't afford to waste plays in a football game that you know cantt work. If someones feelings get hurt so be it but don't sabotage drives to achieve "balance"

the OL sucked causing various runs to be ineffective and Russell to have no time to make the best throw half the time.

but, the refs were pretty terrible. need evidence? just look at all the damn reviews in the first half.

TOB left 6 points on the board in the first half because czjakowski was reminding him of that year he had to pull a fan from the stands at BC. then the shitty kick off+coverage in the 2nd half gifted them 7 points

We lost for a variety of reasons, obviously the missed calls hurt us a lot there.

The o-line really gave a shitty effort though they couldn't protect or open a hole so we kept stalling out when the field got tight and we didn't have enough space to fling it deep.

The playcalling was okay for the most part but ultimately you have to take the job more seriously and play for the win rather than using plays you know won't work.

Yeah I can't believe people are blaming this loss on russell. That was a pretty phenomenal performance he had.

He doesn't have a laser arm like Tyrod or speed like Tyrod but he still made just as many plays today.

Every play was a jailbreak and everytime he scrambled there were guys his speed coming after him.

Blaming this game on russell is a joke, he ripped them a new asshole today

We lost because we didn't capitalize on scoring opportunities, especially in the first half. We could have put their running game out of it by the 3rd if we executed better in the red zone.
