i think what we're going to do is run on them, our OL is better than UNC's (who had 260+). This may or may not keep the score down, but i bet TOB/Archer are thinking better to keep their Off. off the field. i think we could put up 60 on these guys AND i think we'll see more special teams and possibly defensive TD's again next week. TJ is due to return one.

I think our defense could MAYBE keep their scoring very low but it will depend on front four penetration so the LB's can drop back for all the underneath passes. They pass so quickly. We may run alot of nickel and dime packages and I actually like getting our freshman secondary on the field because tackling will be premium, they'll keep everything in front of them and just need to tackle, intercept tipped balls, overthrown passes, etc.

i remember hearing a while back that these games against ecu were somehow mandated by law due to the dealings of some eastern north carolina state legislature asshole. there is no good reason for nc state to play this game, especially away. does anyone know if this game is somehow forced upon ncsu or did fowler really voluntarily schedule this bullshit?

Since 2004, weve played ECU five times, and Duke twice....theres a problem there. It looks like the future dates are getting spread out a bit more (2013 in Raleigh, 2016 in Greenville), which I think is a move in the right direction.
