I'm not trolling, but I would like to state that even the most naive and blindly loyal State fan should not believe that RW has even a remote chance of even getting invited to New York for the Heisman ceremony, much less win it.

*Even though he's the 2nd best qb we've had in the last 40 years.*

Wilson's odds of getting invited to NY are largely based on our record as a team

8-4 he doesn't get invited

11-1 he definitely gets the invite

My little brother is actually the one that started this page. He is 12 and I'm just glad that the young Pack fans have something to be excited about.

As much as Wilson probably could be contender, we all know that you have to be part of one of teh "popular" colleges that the media always drools over. i.e. the ohio state, texas, nebraska, USC, Miami, Alabama, etc.

Probably not. He's going to have close to 15 interceptions. Moore, Pryor, Ingram, and several others will likely be ahead of him.

Ingram? He has no chance whatsoever. He missed 2 games to start the season and then laid an egg last weekend.

C'mon Ribs. Ingram has a minuscule chance, but its better than the ZERO chance that RW has.

Don't try to bring logic into a discussion of Heisman candidates. This is the same organization who refused to give the award to a freshman or sophomore for decades, and who until recently routinely gave the award to the Quarterback on the best team, no matter his statistics or ability. Russell Wilson is not on a top team, nor is he a top 5 quarterback in the country. He will not be getting an invite to New York unless he throws for 400 yards, 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in every game for the rest of the season.

47 rushing yards vs Florida and 41 yards vs South Carolina are sure to set the Heisman voters on fire

I'm not making a case for RW as much as I am making a case for Ingram NOT getting a Heisman sniff

I'll bet at the end of year, if either gets any votes, Ingram will get more than Wilson

I'll bet you 50 bucks

I'm not endorsing RW legitimately, I'm saying your wrong for even mentioning Ingram in the discussion. He has no shot whatsoever.

I think the point of all of this is to get his name out there for some publicity.

RW could throw for 450 yards, 6TDs, 0 INTs and rush for 100 yards for every game we have left and still would NOT finish in the top 3 of Heisman voting. No candidate wins that isn't incredibly popular before the season started, and we're not a big name school.

I realize that Russell's chances are realistically slim. The purpose of the group is more or less to show support and appreciation for what Russell has done for our great University and the football program.

What happens if neither get votes. It would be at this point that t dub knows you're an idiot for thinking someone who has had an EMBARRASSING year would get heisman votes. Ingram was overrated last year and still is.

Side note I want my hundred dollars
