Figured I'd throw these up here as well as Craigslist, worth a shot.

First up, laptops:

1: Dell Inspiron 6000 15.4" $180

Nothing fancy, but it works well and is nice and clean, and has built-in wifi and bluetooth. A nice little machine for watching movies or carrying around without breaking the bank.

Specs:

* 1.6GHz Intel Pentium M Centrino Processor
* 1.5GB DDR2 Ram
* 60GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
* CD-RW/DVD Combo Optical Drive
* 15.4" Widescreen WXGA 1280x800 LCD Screen
* 56k v.90/v.92 Modem
* Built-in 802.11b/g Wireless
* Built-in Dell Truemobile 350 Bluetooth 2.0 Module
* 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet
* 4x USB 2.0 Ports, 1x Firewire
* SD Card Reader
* PCMCIA Expansion card slot
* External VGA Connector
* Parallel and Serial Ports
* Infrared Transceiver

Battery holds a good charge and XP is installed and updated with all the right drivers.

2: Apple PowerBook 15" Aluminum "High-Res" $280

This is a great little laptop, and has all the nifty bells and whistles of the newer Macbook pros like an LED backlit keyboard, ambient light sensors, Dual-link DVI out, and a dual-layer DVD burner. It was the fastest and most powerful PowerPC laptop Apple built before switching to Intel. Nice as a cheap carry-around OS X machine. There is some pitting on the palmrest (apparently it happens due to a reaction with oils on people's wrists) but it doesn't really affect much. Battery works well.

Specifications:

* 1.67GHz PowerPC G4 Processor
* 1GB DDR RAM
* 100GB Hard Drive
* LED Backlit Keyboard with Ambient Light Sensors
* 15.2" Widescreen LCD Display, "High-Res" 1440 x 900 resolution
* Slot-load Superdrive DVD-RW Dual Layer Multiformat DVD/CD Burner
* ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Video with 128MB Dedicated Memory
* 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet
* 2x FireWire, 1x 400 1x 800
* 1x PC Card Expansion Slot
* DVI Video Out (Supports Dual Link)
* AirPort Extreme 802.11g Wireless
* Built-In Bluetooth 2.0
* 2x USB 2.0 ports
* 56K modem (v.92)
* OS X 10.5.8 Leopard installed
* iLife 08 Installed

Servers:

3: HP Proliant DL380 Dual 2.4GHz Xeon 2U Server $60

I actually have a bunch of these in various CPU/Ram configurations, ranging from dual 2.4Ghz Xeon to single 3.06 and 1-3GB ram. I can mix and match options as wanted. None have hard drives. I do have a few rail kits.

They'd make great simple web or content servers or for running a WoW server or the like, and for the price you can't beat it.

Specifications:

* Dual Intel Pentium 4 Xeon 2.4GHz Processors
* 2GB ECC Registered DDR Memory
* Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Management standard on system board
* Integrated Smart Array 5i Plus RAID Controller
* Three available 64-bit PCI-X slots, including two hot pluggable 100MHz slots and one 133MHz slot
* Two NC7781 PCI-X 10/100/1000 Gigabit NICs (embedded)
* 6x 1" Wide Ultra3/Ultra320 SCSI hot plug hard drive cage
* User configurable single/dual channel drive backplane
* Dual 400-Watt Hot Plug Power Supplies

4: Sun Fire v240 Dual-CPU UltraSPARC IIIi Server $100

These are rather pretty Solaris machines, and of course can run Linux/etc as well. With built in quad gigabit ethernet they're nice as database or content servers, or for running high end routing/QoS setups.

Specifications:

* Dual Sun UltraSPARC IIIi 1GHz Processors
* 2GB ECC Registered Memory
* 1x 36.7GB Seagate Cheetah 10k RPM SCSI Drives with Sun Caddies
* Integrated Advanced Lights-Out (ALOM) Management standard on system board
* Integrated Smart Array 5i Plus RAID Controller
* One 64 bit 33/66 MHz 3.3V full-length and two 64 bit 33 MHz 5V full-length PCI-X Expansion slots
* Quad 4x 10/100/1000 Gigabit NICs (embedded)
* 4x 1" SCSI hot plug hard drive cage
* Dual Hot Plug Power Supplies

KeB just grabbed the Powerbook for $260 (close enough to my asking price) and someone from Craigslist grabbed the Inspiron 6000 for $180. Servers are still available!

New addition:

#5: 20" iMac G5 All in one Desktop $350

This system is gorgeous, in almost perfect condition, and includes an Apple keyboard and mouse. The 20" 1680x1050 screen is extremely bright (I had to turn it to half brightness or it was TOO bright) and has no blemishes or dead pixels. A great multimedia or family room computer and very nice for watching movies!

It has slots for internal Airport Extreme and Bluetooth cards if you want to make it wireless, and is very upgradable.

Specifications:

* 1.8GHz G5 PowerPC 64-Bit Processor
* 512MB DDR Ram (Expandable to 2GB)
* 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive (Upgraded)
* Slot-load SuperDrive DVD-RW/CD-RW Burner
* ATI Radeon 9600 Video with 128MB Memory
* 20" Widescreen 1680 x 1050 High Resolution LCD Display
* Gigabit Ethernet
* 2x FireWire Ports
* 3x USB 2.0 ports
* OS X 10.5.8 Leopard installed

The system has had the hard drive wiped and a new fresh installation of OS X Leopard 10.5.8 with all software and security updates. It has iLife 08 with Garageband, iDVD, iPhoto, and iWeb.

I may be interested in 4 or 5 of those servers Carl, but you still owe me 25 or 30 bucks for the SCSI backplane you mysteriously decided to never show with. I'm not going to drive to Raleigh just to get stood up again by a guy who for the most part has an otherwise untarnished reputation.
