No, what's worse is that that above is patently false. Here is why those scholars said it for anybody who cares:

In Islam, you can divorce your wife and remarry her, divorce her again and remarry her again, but if you divorce her a 3rd time, she is forbidden for the man to marry again. She must marry another man, and their marriage must end in death or divorce before she can marry her former husband again. But, this shouldn't be arranged just for convenience. So, since after the 3rd divorce it becomes forbidden for the couple to get married again, what some hateful overly-masculine (i.e. insecure) bastards do is say "I divorce you" three times in a row so that they can't get married again, just because they hate their wives so much. Some scholars do agree with the practice of 3 divorces at once, but the practice was started after Muhammad's time, and while he was alive, 3 divorces still counted as one.
