Both of those videos are a little old, but the back story one is pretty cool. I like the concept a lot, and the game has gotten some recent press with a pair of previews from Gizmodo and IGN. It might turn out to be standard FPS garbage, but early reports look like it might be a little more compelling.

I personally think the entire back story reads like a fantasy of a far-left Korean ultranationalist, but if the game gets good reviews, I may pick it up just to laugh at the Korean pronunciations.

Looks pretty solid. I love the spawn system, as it seems like you can't get spawn killed so easily. Also,, map design looks great, as one would expect in a modern, and also very hyped-up shooter. I'd give it at least 8/10 without having played it based on what I have seen here.

It lets you see where people are in case someone is near your spawn; you see right where they are at. I love it.

It sounds like they didn't want to use arabs or russians so they would avoid comparisons with MW1 and 2, so they had to come up with another enemy. Obviously they couldn't use China because China might ban the game and they'd lose a huge market.

Ultimately their only options were North Korea or the Amish.

I read it was supposed to be China originally (which makes plenty of sense). They were basically told that the company's executive team would be permanently banned from travel in China.

This game was disappointing as fuck. Fascinating premise, horrible story telling, god awful final mission which wasn't the least bit climatic. 8 hour of single player campaign and a very limited # of multi-player maps.

This shit from the same publisher that put out a game as awesome as Red Faction Guerrilla? WTF? There's another Red Faction slated for release later this year, here's hoping they don't botch it.

I tried to play multiplayer yesterday. Got thrown into a game and was immediately destroyed by air support about 5 times in a row, literally within seconds of spawning. It was tons of fun.
