Has anyone here been? What level of seating did you buy? Was it in a package? How much did you pay? What did you like? What did you dislike?

I'm thinking about getting my Dad some for Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.

And yes, I know I have < 1000 posts. I registered in '04, so cut me some slack.

me and Slave Famous went in 2008 ... the seats we bought were really high up, and part of what they called the "twilight" package or something to that nature on labor day weekend. it was for the night events on Sat, Sun, Mon. They are kinda nazi-ish with moving to lower level seating, so you gotta be able to eyeball an empty few seats and sneak down after a few games or so

if you can, wait around outside Armstrong and some people that are leaving will give you their ticket stub to get in, it's a lot of fun watching matches in there because you are so close to the action

The key is to get cheap seats for the night matches, then get the passdown tickets for the lower level when it gets late. You can be as close as front row for no additional cash.

I'd love to see Caroline play in person. As it stands though my capital is allocated elsewhere through 2012.

i went this year to a night session. it was loads of fun. but a very last minute decision. we bought tickets the day before. so i don't know about packages and whatnot. we had shit seats and moved up during the second match when people started leaving.
