I thought I'd done this before, but I can't remember how. Isn't there a way to have a video stay in fullscreen on one monitor, while working in another? I've googled but I'm hesitant to try some random method/download from teh intarweb without some confirmation of its success.

Hulu?

Flash video minimizes when you click on the other screen. If you're talking DIVX or DVD this should be no sweat.

Try using 2 browsers.

[Edited on November 9, 2010 at 8:59 PM. Reason : like firefox with chrome - not 2 windows.]

I fixed this by running a 2nd computer... lol although admittedly I have 3 desktops at my desk with 4 monitors and my speaker's setup to allow all three inputs from the machines at one time.

Looks like a nice little hack, wished hulu switched to MS silverlight like netflix. Just seems to work and run better than flash even when running three displays and playing a video game.

^haha... that's one option.

the above linked method/hack works on
XP x86 + Chrome (DrizzlyChrome)
W7 x64 + Chrome (DrizzlyChrome)
W7 x64 + FF (FlashHacker)

Haven't tried XP x86 + FF but I imagine it should work considering these others do

this may be only slightly related, but what's that program that allows your mouse to move seamlessly between multiple computers?

I just wish I could get my BT mouse to work nicely with my W7 machine or maybe just my W7 machine to quit fucking over BT (it keeps shutting down the BT service)
