Where would one go about ordering a fresh NC turkey around here? Are there any farms that you can order directly from in the Triangle? 11/10/2010 4:01:33 PM |

i wish we had a fall turkey season
even if it was only a week or a few days
instead you've gotta freeze one you kill in the spring 11/10/2010 7:28:11 PM |

just go buy a butterball turkey at the store. it was probably from here. (world's largest turkey processing plant is in mt olive)
but seriously, i don't know of any turkey farms that aren't commercial producers. a quick google search found this though http://wildturkeyfarms.blogspot.com/

Go play golf at falls villiage, and pack a rifle in your bag
no really ... you'll see 10 or so during 1 round of golf there.

Whole Foods. They tend to sell out quick though. 11/14/2010 11:42:38 AM |
