My coworker says "There's a giant blow-up cow and balloons and directions to turn in but it's still that Vineyard coffeshop building."

Anybody know the scoop?

tricking people into thinking there was a chickfila grand opening seems like a reasonable chance for people to come by your store...people flock to them shits to try and get the free chickfila for a year they give out.

I remember driving by there the other day and seeing a sign saying they served Chick-fil-A. I'm skeptical though.

if you go to the one on Capital, by Steak n Shake, during breakfast hours, you can get a free chicken biscuit if you say you have a coupon for one

they never actually ask for it when you get to the window

Interesting how, if true, that [Christian] Vineyard place will become a [Christian] Chick-fil-A...

They're building a Chick-fil-a in Cameron Village in 2011, I doubt they'd open another one up so close.

It's a Smithfield's Chicken & BBQ. I made a thread about it a while back.

What a nightmare that location would be...probably worse than the one in North Hills in terms of number of rich stay at home moms, privileged hipster ass high school kids, and others who think that a place is automatically classier b/c it's in CV.

I don't know about that, but they are really building the Chick-fil-A at Cameron Village, and it will open late spring or summer.

I presume everyone here knows where the rite-aide is, well, since that parking lot is atrociously over-sized the chick-fil-a will be built to occupy a significant portion of that parking lot. The front of the building will face the Talbots and the building itself will be 2-stories.

Right now the project is being delayed because city rules require for there to be 14ft of walk-way space, and once the CFA is built that required space will not exist. Hearings are being held to determine if CFA can get a pass on the regulation or not.

chick-fil-a is selling $5 lunch meals (chicken sandwich, tea, chips, brownie) 10:30-1:30 in the vineyard shop

they started this at least a week ago

How is that relevant?

Are you saying that McDonalds is better than Chick-fil-A?

It's relevant because Chick-fil-a only licenses a very limited number of franchises per year (according to one website 80-100), obviously significantly fewer than McDonalds. I guess they could license two franchises in a relatively small geographic area, but considering they're on average only going to set up 2 stores per state I doubt they would put both of them in the same quadrant of one city.

i find that falls river is far worse than north hills. those north ridge moms flock to the falls river one. there is never anyone at the NH location when i am there. CV would indeed be a mad house, though.

haha... you think Chick-fil-A locations are distributed as evenly as McDonalds?

2 stores per state? 100 stores then? I thought you said 1600....
Also, do you think there are some states with 0?

^^ I think he means new stores opening within a year period

but i still don't buy that number. Seems like in parts of Cary and Garner you can be in the parking lot of one Chick-Fil-A see another one right down the street.

All I know is I'm not believing this Chick-fil-a on Western exists until I see it with my own eyes. This is just like the cadbury egg milkshake at cookout.

i live in cameron village, and have not heard about the chick fil a at rite aid, but there used to be small sign in the building behind Mcdonalds that said a chick fil a was opening there, but that was a year ago, and the sign is gone. and i do see the broughton girls running quite often, and i've had to avoid being a victim of mayhem.

ever since the whole fiasco about the apts and shops on the corner where that gas station is(was), i'm sure plans have changed a bit.
