I really want skis but a) that's too expensive for anyone to really get me b) it's seriously doubtful I could even use them until next winter.

Sooooooooo there's no point in me getting skis this year

Other than that I can't really think of anything. A job would be nice.

Nothing. I can't think of a damn thing to ask anyone else for that I wouldn't just buy myself. I don't know how to feel about that either

(My parents are also horrible about supporting most of my hobbies and wouldn't buy anything I could think of asking for.)

Actually would probably be happiest getting the basketball out of those three.

I keep hunting ebay for a good deal on a used one. There are new ones on ebay but since there is a huge shortage on them people are selling them for hundreds over normal MSRP.

I am quite proud of myself for not having bought one yet. Its really hard

Dear Santa,
Thank you for all the presents you gave us last year.
Love,
Todd

was the Santa letter I wrote in kindergarten, when they published them in the local newspaper (yes, it was a small town). I think very highly of myself for being such a sweet and thankful little boy.

do obedience classes really fix this? because i have this issue too, and i am in a basic manners class right now. i mean they have other classes, so i'm sure one focuses on issues like this, but you HAVE to start with basic manners to be eligible for the others (w/ this company anyway :/) and i mean i see why, but i don't really care about some of the things we are learning in it.

what can you do to curb a dog's prey drive??

brewbot, makes 7 different drinks!

a new charger for my laptop (but i think maybe i can get a replacement from apple fo free, trying that before i put it on my list)

either a new digital camera, or get the 2 broken ones i have fixed (also trying to see if i can do the repairs myself before i ask for a new camera which has to fit into an expensive underwater casing i already own)

and jewelry, naturally!

I'm getting to the point where I like figuring out awesome things to get for family/fiance/friends rather than putting anything on a list for myself. I can always use new running gear, but I don't need money, I don't need electronics (or at least I wouldn't ask someone to buy it for me). I'm difficult to shop for.

ditto. i honestly get more excitement and fulfillment out of picking out an awesome present that i know the receiver will LOVE than getting something myself (i'm also hard to shop for, though i WILL take money haha). but i feel so awesome when i pick out the perfect gift.

I'm a taker, so I don't even think of what I'm going to get other people until two days before Christmas.

Anyway, I need a suit or two and a few sports coats. So nothing fun or cool. Being a grown-up sucks.

^ ha i bought a sewing machine on their lightning deal, go amazon!!

lunak, what if you asked for half of the road bike? or maybe 1/3 of it? that way they can contribute to something you really want without busting the bank completely?
