That is my effort, my skills with html are nonexistent.
And I would explain mimosa saturday, but I can't. All I know is there is a very aggressive group of lumberjacks with whom I used to socialize who would insist, and chainsaw-point, that every time there is snow on the ground in Raleigh on a Saturday we had to drink mimosas all day.
I don't know why. They never drank mimosas any other day. Also, there were no associated events with snow on the ground on other days of the week, or with different weather events. They would never explain where the idea came from or why they are so adamant. I'd like to think that at some point they were threatened and cajoled into participating by some group that also didn't know why they were doing it, so on into the dim and distant past when some Secret Society created the event for reasons too arcane for mere mortals but which are important beyond all things.
Or, lumberjacks drink a lot and snowy saturdays gave them excuse to drink something funny and different. Either way, I swore to participate and now if I don't I might not get infinite free fire wood.12/4/2010 4:04:11 PM |
