as compared to college? grad school? as compared to your work ethic if you're now employed?

Grades-wise, socially, etc?

practically identical

rock hard B+/A- average

i've always had an A+ work ethic

i just didn't care if i got C's, D's and F's in math and math-related sciences (which is what pulled down my GPA)

i had an A average in my major

Only C's ever in the history of my life was in office administration and Spanish in HS. Had the dont give a fuck attitude in high school and still sorta do today...I have more self pride though in my grades these days. 3.3 gpa in HS...3.28 now in college...probably 3 point something in grad school.

In high school...A/B honor roll every semester (occasional straight A's...). My final unweighted GPA in HS was something like 3.6 or 3.5.

My GPA in college is 3.222 through 2 semesters. Should stay around there after this semester as well.

In high school I was one of those lucky people who did hardly any work but had straight A/A+ even at a college prep school. It was kind of a curse though because it perpetuated some pretty bad habits for me that I had to correct in college. The first year or so (with general college classes) was super easy and then the Engineering classes hit me a little hard since I finally actually had to do real work and study for tests etc. My first semester with real engineering classes I got several Cs. After that wake up call though I finished with mainly Bs in ME. Was happy enough with that.

high school was a joke

college had a few hard spots, but nothing serious

grad school was brutal

the kind of student I was didn't really change, so I failed out early in grad school

I was in the top 25% of my HS class, made A's and B's and really slacked off while doing it. The only C I made in high school was in Biology... hated that stuff. My unweighted GPA in HS was exactly a 3.5, but this was boosted due to 8 semesters of Band, so it was likely more around a 3.3 or so when looking at actual classes.

I really improved in college though, not sure what happened. I kicked myself into high gear and worked hard. Holding right at a 3.8 right now with only a semester to go, then Grad School. I'm hoping to not flunk out like ^.

9th grade: i missed a lot of school, my grades varied depending on how interested i was in a subject
10th grade: grades still varied depending on how interested i was in a subject
11th & 12th: no effort/A++

it was definitely easier to get away with putting forth little effort in high school since attendance was compulsory

i wasn't very sociable then, i'm not very sociable now

I did zero work and ended up fifth or sixth in my class at the end of senior year. Took all the AP classes my school offered, did well on all of them except English (after I knew I was going to NCSU and that the AP exam wouldn't have any standing on what I did there). I was pretty hot shit on the math team, too.

My social life turn a turn for the worse when I wasn't on board with my friends drinking, smoking pot, and tripping their balls off, but I had a good couple of years in there.

My lack of a work ethic, or lack of a need for one, was definitely a contributing factor to the utter disaster that was my first attempt at college, but was nowhere near the main factor.
