What you got? I'd like something that can carry a large laptop (not sure on size yet), 11x17 plans (at least width wise), rolled full size plans, plus other fun stuff.

advice? features? brands? stores? I'm not so fond of the $300 variety, that's for sure.

i use a keen alameda 15 and i love it (especially since it was only $10 at an REI garage sale)...it probably won't work for you, but since that flap has a magnetic clasp, you don't have to zip it (so tubes can stick out pretty securely if necessary)

I got a ticket for expired tags once. All I had to do was show the guy at the courthouse the renewed registration and I was on my way.

I went to whatever was the name of the "leather store" at the Tanger outlets in Myrtle Beach during their Black Friday sale and got a pretty sick leather briefcase that I get complemented on all the time by even the big boy attorneys down here in Charleston. It was originally like $220 and I think I got it for $45.

Just found the name..."Wilson's Leather Outlet". Definitely check it out...they had some good stuff. Mine was a briefcase, but it had kind of a satchel look to it and the leather looked "worn." I can fit my average sized laptop and several files in it.

^I dont get people who do that.

"Just found the name"...if you found the name before you posted, why dont you just reword your original statement of "whatever was the name of the leather store".

It's called the "backspace" key. Use it.

The only quality I see in posts like that is utter disgust.

Blog-style writing and text speak (4ever, "wut r u doing l8r?", etc.) is going to cause the demise of what we formerly knew as English. We are becoming a nation of idiots.

If TWW had a like button, I would click it for this thread. Yes, my own thread.

^I didn't mean full inside; just able to handle a laptop+other items+11x17 plans+rolled up larger plans that could just rest inside and stick out of the top

Saddleback leather company. there website is saddlebackleather.com they have some of the best leather products I have ever owned. They are a tad expensive (close to 600 for a briefcase) but quality it's a quality product.

So either buy one briefcase at 600 and have it forever or buy a whole bunch of cheap ones.
