i went to the masters 2 years ago and couldn't believe the undulation of that place...tv doesn't do those hills justice. from what i understand that laser technology they used does a great job of showing it.

I thought it was odd that the "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12" was relocated at the bottom and "Masters" is what catches the eye first. I know this is the first time Augusta is available for TW, but I kind of think this has something to do with his image.

Last Tiger Woods game I played was 04 on PS2, and I played the absolute shit out of it.

Demo for 12 felt like the exact same game as 04, didn't notice any change at all in the gameplay. Except for the putting, of course, which I didn't understand at all. I fuckin five-putted the first hole.

I think EA didn't include Kinect support this year because they couldn't get the bugs out in time, if EA Sports Active 2 is any indication. From their statements it looks like TW 2013 will definitely have Kinect support, and if they could include a club peripheral it would eliminate a majority of the tracking bugs.

I'll probably hold out even though I really want this one, maybe buy a cheap older year to bide my time.

Gorgeous, solid mechanics, but putting is incredibly difficult; I usually get on the green with the possibility of birdie and sometimes eagle, but I usually miss the long ones by inches and the short ones can be just as frustrating

Also the caddie recommendations for putting are terrible, I still eyeball it myself and do better than if I had narrowed the 'focus' and put the aim where it said to. (I know at the beginning the caddie has to gain skill too but still)

What difficulty does everyone play on? I hate the cheesy 'mash A furiously' to change the ball spin in flight stuff so I bump it up to TOUR Pro, but the campaign is getting pretty rough.
