i used to get about $2000 back each year. then i got married
now, it'll still show me getting $2000 back when i enter mine first...when i start adding chris's info in it knocks it down to <$1000. why is that? 1/8/2011 11:15:16 AM |

~$1300 back on the feds, ~$70 on the state.
I gotta find a way to help this out a tad. Not what I expected, honestly. 1/8/2011 12:00:47 PM |

^I get paid hourly direct deposit, and i never bother to check how much i'm getting paid, so I have no earthly idea what I've made at my job, so I couldn't even guestimate 1/8/2011 12:08:39 PM |

ha, I have a nice little spreadsheet that keeps up with all that. Had to figure out my taxes early to know how much extra to send each week with the new job so I didn't end up with a huge bill from being on unemployment. Luckily mine aren't too complicated. 1/8/2011 12:14:22 PM |

I don't have my w2 or any of my 1099s but I know what all of the values are except for one 1099-DIV which should be less than $25.1/8/2011 12:26:20 PM |

I pay so much fucking tax to the state of MA it's sickening. Hard comming from one of the least taxed states(AK) to one of the worst. 1/8/2011 1:00:03 PM |

Bump...trying to avoid navigating through Wachovia's phone support so I thought I'd give this a shot on here. Does anyone know how I can view my total interest paid for 2010 on my savings account online? I've opted out of the paper statements, and can only seem to view the current amount for 2011 online. Feel free to make fun of my incompetence in navigating their website. Thanks in advance 2/12/2011 3:14:41 PM |

Why do people get happy over having a large refund? If you file Single and 0 for both you are screwing yourself over. 2/12/2011 5:23:43 PM |

I don't loan the gov't money and then get excited when my money is returned to me at a later date with no interest. 2/12/2011 7:27:29 PM |

i get excited because i'm a dickface and suck at saving money, so it's nice to just be like "oh, here credit card, have $2K"
otherwise i'd probably buy better beer or something stupid and then my credit card balance would be just as high.. 2/13/2011 1:27:08 AM |
