It's that time again - time to shave heads and raise money for childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's is gearing up across the nation. In 2010 over $22M was raised.

I'll be a first time participant as a shavee up here in Annapolis, MD, hoping to help push that number even higher.

I realize I don't know many of you personally, so if you don't want to donate under my name, that's fine. I just wanted to get the word out early for those who were thinking about participating this year or who otherwise wouldn't hear about the events. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Anyone know anything about organizing an event? I wanted to join last year but found out only a couple of days beforehand. This year, there aren't any events in my area so I'm thinking about organizing one but there's no info on their site as to what's involved.
