I'm thinking the Steelers come out as 2.5 point favorites but the Packers take home the Lombardi

The bad news is. The next two weeks are going to be unbearable at work with all the steelers fans. The good news is both my first line and second line managers are steelers fans so they will be in a good mood.

This Super Bowl situation is going to reminiscent of the Giants/Pats and New Orleans/Indy Super Bowls.

Do you go with the team on fire or the perennial favorite?

How anyone not from Pittsburgh can actually cheer for the steelers is beyond me.

Last year the story of the Super Bowl was a team that saved a city after it had been ravaged by a hurricane. Will this year's story be about a rapist who redeems himself?

Was hoping for a Jets/Packers Super Bowl...but this should still be entertaining. I'll be going for the Packers.

I get the feeling that this is going to be a very one-sided game.

It will be interesting to see if the Packers can have any success running the ball against that Steeler front. It very well could be a long day for A-Rod if they become one dimensional.

Pinnacle opened at PICK and got to 2.5 damn near instantly.

Cris opened at 2 and got to 3 almost instantly.

With that huge line movement, only 41% of the ~5200 bets taken across all the online books so far are on the Packers. That equals BIG BIG money laid on Green Bay by some sharps.

My team isn't defending their title anymore, I'm just hoping for a good game. Might throw a little watch party somewhere.

I'm gonna have to pull for the Packers. Was hoping to see Jericho get to the superbowl, but my feelings aren't hurt for Rex. Really didn't want to see any of the final 4 but I really really don't want Ben to get another ring.

are we still stuck on this ben thing? until there's any charges or anything, then nothing has happened.

where are all the people that should be on ray lewis, he murdered someone.

I don't want to see Ben get another ring because people are going to pretend even more that he is an elite QB. Big Ben is a good QB, who limits mistakes, and manages the Steeler offense well. Their defense is what is winning these championships. Ben is just fortunate to be their QB in a good system on a great franchise.

I like Rodgers and hope the Packers win. Plus people in Wisconsin are some of the nicest I've ever met so it's easy for me to root for their team when I have no other option.

Except Ray Lewis didn't actually kill anyone he was an accessory after the fact or hide evidence. What ever it was.

Big Ben is a hell of a lot more than a game manager in a "good system"

fuck the steelers, but you have to give Roethlisberger some credit for being a hell of a quarterback. He is clutch.

So if I kill someone, and I don't get caught or charged, I didn't actually kill someone?

We all know he did it.

since my thread got locked...

That was comically pathetic (when Lagursky dropped the ball). I seriously hope Pouncey is back for the super bowl. Also, it seemed like the usual players were not making plays last night. I expected Wallace and Polamalu to make more plays, where were they? Was is too cold for them? Are they saving energy for the super bowl? They better work this shit out in the next 2 weeks.

PS. Fuck the bandwagoning haters.

Early indications are that it is a high ankle sprain from what I've read this morning. Those don't heal in two weeks unfortunately.

I wouldn't be surprised if the guy dressed out and gave it a go, but good luck blocking Raji on a bum wheel.

as a steelers fan, i was rooting hard for the bears. the packers will be tough. wishful thinking has me picking the steelers to be victorious, but i think it will go down to the wire.

Those who speak ill of the Man-God Ray Lewis deserve to be locked in a narrow hallway with him, about 7 yards long.

one good stat they should mention is the last time Big Ben finished a game injury-free

the dude is not just clutch, hes fuckin tough, you got these little peytons and bradys that like to slide on the ground aor twists themselves onto the ground when someone gets within 4 yards, Ben is refreshing to watch

I am 100% for the packers in this super bowl.

FUCK the Steelers. They have the most obnoxious fans here in Wilmington at either work or the bars. I want to know how many of these so called "fans" are actually from Pittsburgh Fagsburgh (or near the area) and/or have parents from there. Those people are excused

If i were a betting man I'd say <30% of the steelers "fans" around here have any association with Pittsburgh, including going to the same school as one of the current stars. The majority of which are just bandwagon hoppers much like the Yankees and the Tarholes.
