my parents neighbors got a labradoodle puppy right before i moved away. it was white but otherwise similar looking.
could be a water spaniel, though. or a mutt. 2/1/2011 7:15:40 PM |

My first guess is Labradoodle, my second is something a little more exotic like a Giant Schnauzer or a larger terrier mix. Is that a puppy or full-size? 2/1/2011 9:24:24 PM |

Labradoodle. I have a medium black doodle. She's awesome.
The breed's still very young, and therefore there's a lot of variation and no real standard. Depends on if they're first generation (bred from a Poodle and a Lab) or further generations (bred from other Doodles). I've seen some that overwhelmingly favored poodles, and a lot with lines more along Labs. Their coats run from wavy to kinky, some do shed though they're really not supposed to. If you own a Lab, then you know they shed like motherfuckers. 2/1/2011 10:04:15 PM |

This was my first thought. Looks just like my grandmother's when he was a puppy. Labradoodle makes sense too.2/3/2011 10:17:43 AM |

My guess was Giant Schnauzer mix, not full breed- that dog in the picture is a spitting image of my neighbor's dog that's a Schnauzer mix.
But yeah...Labradoodle seems more common. 2/3/2011 1:09:46 PM |
