Cholera is worse, IMO
but that is just from what I learned in all my micro classes. While dysentery is bad, it is less likely to result in death. Cholera, if untreated, has a really high death rate. Also, multiple things can cause dysentery, but only one bacterium is responsible for Cholera (I think... I could be wrong, been a while since I've had those classes).

i'd MUCH rather have cholera. you can get that from shellfish. and go to the hospital and get treated.
dysentery is an epidemic common to third world countries and refugee camps. you know, places where people shit in the water supply. if you're in a place where you have to worry about dysentery, you've got real problems. 2/10/2011 11:17:18 AM |
