I went to a UNC vs USSR game and I cheered for the USSR too. People around me were like who is this fucking 6 year old cheering for socialists in the Dean Dome.

And look 20 years later UNC fans vote for socialists. Weird huh



UNC won pretty easily my only real memory is some soviet getting pissed and slamming the ball on the court and it went about as high as the 2nd deck. he obv got whistled for the tech.

i went to a game, also must have been about 20-25 years ago when UNCCHeat was playing Jugoslavia.

I remember because:

1. My friends dad was and still is a major rams club booster so we had primo seats
2. I remember thinking: "why in the hell do they spell their country's name with a 'J'?"
