So I bought one, and now I have some $dollarbucks.
Its the "sport" version, 6 speed manual, hardtop, everything stock.
What mods to do first?
also, anyplace near raleigh where I can get some mud on it? 2/24/2011 8:17:41 AM |

take it back and get something different. my best fried bought a 2010 with manual tranny and that thing is in the shop every other month. he's already replaced the tranny once. he's filing a lawsuit right now under the lemon law. evidently the problematic ones or the ones with the 6 speed gear box, the slushboxes are pretty solid. 2/24/2011 8:26:47 AM |

it amazes me that a company can manage to make a manual transmission that's a POS 2/24/2011 8:35:30 AM |

i know...he was having problems from the time he drove it off the lot. on the way home from the dealership cruising down the hwy it would pop out of gear. the dealership rebuilt it 3 times then he was like fuck it give me a new one. has the same problems with the new one. now he's filing a law suit. 2/24/2011 8:44:00 AM |

Mickey Thompson All Terrains and a leveling kit would be a good place to start. It would look amazing!
After that I would get tinted windows and flows too.
I am not sure if you would want to do anything else to it.. 2/24/2011 2:41:25 PM |

how much money do you have...
i can give you any array of mods for your jeep given what you want to use it for, what you want it to look like you use it for, and how much you want to spend on it. 3/25/2011 10:17:07 AM |

Looks good mang... if you're going to do any offroading
get rocker skids so you don't bang up the pretty metal and powertrax lockers (best bang for the buck and they don't make street driving suck a fat one) before a lift. I always liked being the guy with 31"s going places where the open 35" tire guys couldn't get to. 3/25/2011 2:51:00 PM |

thanks, I've got some more items on my list to buy before I start hitting Uwharrie, but I think it looks damn good compared to the stock look
Plus, I bought a BestTop SoftTop for it, so when it's consistently warmer, I'll be putting that on. 3/25/2011 3:54:40 PM |

then I might have to hit it up a few times. Since it's only about 1.5 months old, I don't wanna get it all scratched up yet 3/25/2011 7:19:47 PM |

Haha I do remember i got some sort of a great tdub deal on them. They held up really well, actually. My little sis is still hopping the curbs around UNC-C with those things. That prelude must be going on 280-300K right now. 3/28/2011 11:35:09 PM |

i have some OME (Old Man Emu) shocks w/ appox. 20K miles on them that I'll get rid of cheap if you're interested in a great set of shocks. they were originally installed on an '08 Rubicon and i don't know if they'll work on an '11.

^ Agree. Just put in a replacement filter every once in a while.
Most people who want to waste their money seem to do so on the K&N FIPK.
