(not the movie or the previous series of the same name)

All of the other parenthood threads are too old... maybe that says something about the popularity of this show, but lets give it another shot.


Anyone watching the current season? I think it has gotten to be really good. The plot about the deadbeat dad intrigues me (i plan on becoming one eventually) and also the plot about Dax Sheppard and the chick who works with the assburgers kid.

I watch it some; It's pretty decent. My wife and I DVR it and usually get around to watching it over the weekend or something.

I wouldn't normally get too interested in this kind of show but it has a good ensemble cast and is put together pretty well.

Pretty solid show. It's in our dvr recording list and it has a good cast. I too am interested what happens with Crosby's situation.

i got behind early in the second season and have dropped it completely. I really enjoyed the cast, but overall it just wasn't one that i would spend a block of time catching up on.

some parts of the series hit close to home for me because they remind me of my family... others... like assburger kid... are interesting just because and i'm looking forward to next week now that he accidentally found out he was autistic.

we dvr it and watch it on wednesday; sometimes my husband stays up and will watch it w/o me. we both really like the show...I love it.

both of the seasons have been great IMO...this season particularly so. this week's episode had me in tears and laughing.

great show. i've thought about reviving the other thread often

great show, highly under rated...but I may feel this way b/c I'm in my 30's & can relate. Hope it's on for awhile, one of the few shows I actually look forward to seeing.

Whew!!!

The actress that plays amber I really love; I was worried she might have gotten some better gig so the writer's might have let her die from the accident. The scene with zeke and her was awesome--"well boo frickin hoo." reminded me a lot of my husband's late grandfather. And I liked how they brought out max's asbergers in that situation as well.

I <3 this show so much. It's just good.

They definitely ended the season on a high point with those last 3-4 episodes, that's for sure. I really didn't care much for the first 3/4th (7/8ths?) of Season 2. I hope that Season 3 (if there is one) doesn't start off slow like Season 2 did. I wonder if they'll pick up right where they left off, or jump 9 months - a year in the future so the baby will already be born.

Also boo on Jasmine being back. Minka Kelly was like 1,000 times hotter and nicer.

see, i think i liked season 2 better than season 1. maybe it's because i didn't see every episode of season 1. I agree i hate that jasmine is back... Dax shepherd needs to get with the behavioral therapy girl.

We watched the first season pretty intently, but last year was really crowded for us on the TV watching and me not being at home during the week, so it was on the backburner. We just finished off the end of Castle, so we are knocking out the last half of Fringe and then going to catch up on Parenthood. Can't wait.

her guy is fucked too. its like haddie can go to the parent's and say it was a misunderstanding, don't press charges because they'll assume she is just covering his ass. all the kids there will say that this guy (black) came in and caused a scene and made haddie upset and then the owner stepped in out of chivalry and then got punched the fuck out by the angry ass black man.

It should be interesting to see how this all plays out.

The coffee merchant baby snatching thing is a little weird to me.

We saw Sydney in the first episode--they were taking her to school & we saw all the Braverman's outside of the school. Same with Drew...though he definitely isn't around as much except for last season with the dad arc.

Still loving this show

this last episode...the whole Adam dressing up like a wigger...hilarious! I laughed more than I have ever at this show..great episode. Loved the dog who doesn't like white people.

yeah i literally laughed out loud in that scene. I like Amber's new look better than previous seasons. I cringe whenever there is a drew-centric storyline though.

Do we think that Jasmine and Dax Shepard will get back together? I sure hope not. I can't stand Jasmine.
