Anyone watching this season?

http://www.history.com/shows/top-shot

This show has been pretty entertaining so far. From my observation: Jay Lim is either a natural shot or is just extremely lucky, and I'm still annoyed that Jermaine got eliminated so early in the season.

yeah, I watch it. There was a thread about it in Chit Chat I think, but no one has posted in it in a while.

I too, was surprised that Jermaine lost to Jay in that elimination challenge.

I didn't really care who was eliminated last night. I guess if I had to choose one of them, I was hoping Maggie would stay just so we could have a little bit of eye candy to look at for the next few weeks...

^no

^^ I agree and I want him to go down in a ball of flames. However, the .50Cal shot was impressive since that is what he claimed to be excellent at - and he can make funny, although douchebag comments... but yeah, it is more about talking than shooting with him.

Yeah, I agree about George being a douche-nozzle... I know his airforce/military buddies will say that it's nothing, and that he is just very confident- there is a difference between being confident and being an all out dickcheese (and he is in that latter part of that spectrum).

I did like Asleigh up until this last week, but don't know what to think about him anymore. I mean I can understand wanting to go against jay (who was also cocky and there to play by his own rules), but this last week unfolded not how it should have.

at this point, I"m pulling for Chris, but if the final challenges are as physically demanding as they were last season, I see both Georg and Ashleigh (and maybe Joe) having the advantage.

This is pretty much how I feel as well. I lost some respect for those guys that voted for Jamie instead of Joe. I think Ashley was willing to hop-on-board with any plan that didn't have him going to the elimination challenge. Because if I remember right, he had the slowest time (next to Joe not hitting anything) so he should have went. So he probably felt a sigh of relief when George (if I remember correctly) spoke up about voting for Jamie

self preservation is the only acceptable reasoning I can think of, but I still don't know what to think

I'll see how things go, because he was one of my favorites before this week- just kinda surprised me with the whole joe/jamie situation- maybe if he goes and talks to jamie and sticks up for him later, then that'll show something, but we'll just have to wait and see

If Joe shot Jaime instead of Jay, there would have been a overtime pick.

I feel bad for Joe. He asked to go in to elimination and now he is gonna get thrown into the hypocrite category with everyone else.

Jamie pretty much has to win out to not go to the elimination every week. Cuz they will all vote him in no matter what.

And honestly, I don't see anyone beating George. He hasn't wavered one bit in any challenge.

Ashley turned into bitch mode at the end there before the elimination. I felt bad for Jamie.

Yea, he was a total prick to Jamie in the kitchen. I'm glad Joe destroyed him in elimination round. I feel like Jamie must have done something to piss off all the other guys while in the house that wasn't shown, but Ashley seemed to just go off for not reason. I'm glad the little military/red team alliance is starting to break down some.

yeah, Ashley was one of the guys I was pulling for in the beginning. But after the last two episodes, I am glad he is gone. Hopefully either Jamie or Joe will win it. The other guys are dicks as well for "deciding" who to send to elimination before they even went to the challenge.

Yeah, I liked Ashley up until then.

George is going to win it. This guy owns everything you put in his hands. The only time he struggled, if you want to call it that, was this past week with the FAL. He's never been to an elimination. He's never had anyone shoot at his bullseye for an elimination. I've never even heard anyone bring up his name when discussing eliminations.

^I don't know about that. If I recall correctly Chris Reed has never been voted for elimination either. I don't feel that George has been the strongest member throughout, he has just been the semi ring leader of their little alliance. But I can't really decide on a favorite to win it yet.

Chris Reed was one of the ones being debated for elimination right before Ashley flipped out in the kitchen. He has skated by pretty sneakily.

Yea, I was talking about official votes (shooting targets). George was one of my favorites early on, but he has just got too cocky in the recent episodes.

i didn't finish watching the after-finale special, did George say he missed on purpose or helped Chris out?

he said he missed on purpose during the actual season finale....

I think he is a douchebag, and that little bit did nothing for me. He is waaaaay past the line of confident vs cocky vs dickhead

how Brian struggled with that Ruger .22 is beyond me, even with the progressively smaller targets. Both of my .22s are so accurate it's ridiculous.

and i know, it's nerve racking, i would have never made it that far. But to get stuck on that one over the others seemed odd.

i'm glad George didn't win... but once he eliminated Joe, he was by far the best competitor left (although I think Joe would have killed it in that final challenge)

Joe was the weakest of the final four.

Coby: "What will you do with the winnings?"
George: "Buy a bunch of cool guns."
Chris: "Put my daughter through college."
George: "Goddamnit..."

LOL. Sniper Bro was awesome. I can't believe the hate for him.

That was a pretty cool move by George. He'd started to annoy me a few episodes ago, but he more than redeemed himself. I mean with 100k on the line and a guaranteed pass into the final, that was pretty noble.

After that all went down, I was thinking that Chris better win now. I thought it was funny that a little while later George said, "If Chris doesn't win, i'm going to walk up and punch him right in the junk!" I hope Chris shared a little bit of his winnings with 'ol Sniper Bro.

Exciting finale, and I'm glad Chris won. He was solid throughout the competition and seemed to be a genuinely good person. Despite the little alliance or whatever, he even stood up for Jamie a little when Ashely started hammering him towards the end.

^^^Joe was in no way the weakest... the only challenge he sucked it up on was the 50cal, and when they did the 4 gun challenge with the unstable base, he was one of the best at it- I definitely think he would have done better than the other two in the final challenge (but probably not george, but I've already stated what I think of him ITT)

Joe was hanging on by a thread the last two challenges or so. Shaky at best.

I'd never seen this show until this weekend. Can't wait to catch Season 3 from the start.
