This morning when i started my truck i noticed the OBD2 sensor was on, so I went and popped the hood and noticed my airfilter had fallen off and was just sitting in the box. I am not sure how long it had been then way. Recently it has been very dry and there has been a considerable amount of windblown dirt out here in the country. Should i be worried about any considerable damage to the turbo or engine? Thanks" |

he says the obd2 sensor is the check engine light. he got it scanned & it's a p0101 error (mass airflow sensor). he's hoping that it's just a higher volume of air which is triggering the error, but he's going to reset it to see. he wants to know that if it's been running like this for some period of time, could it have caused any damage. 3/7/2011 11:33:35 AM |

he's correct. fix it, reset the code, and problem will go away.
