Brownies laced with melatonin. Sold at gas stations. Seriously? Anyone tried them?

At 4 bucks a pop for a 2-serving brownie, why not just make them at home?

Deep thoughts in chit chat.

[Edited on March 7, 2011 at 7:52 PM. Reason : though i'm assuming people take melatonin to sleep. not to trip.]

i heard about these on the radio - apparently it's like 4 times the amount of melatonin that's healthy to take at one time

I like weed with my brownies. Not baked in.

i see. it still might be cheaper to just buy melatonin, and you won't get the munchies!

"MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A brownie called 'Lazy Cakes' has a key ingredient that is supposed to help you sleep. But when a 2-year old Memphis child got hold of some of the brownie, doctors say he was lucky to wake back up.

It's called 'The Original Lazy Cakes.' Available in convenience stores, it's also called the ultimate relaxation brownie. But when a 15-year old Memphian bought one at a store off Macon, it almost spelled tragedy."

I'm gonna pass on buying any product from a gas station that's described as "laced with" anything.

The fuck? It just makes me sleepy, though I haven't tried it in brownies, because that's ...just why? In other news, yeah "laced" plus " gas station" can't end well

I really want to try them, but I think they'd be better in Blondie form. Or maybe rice krispie form.

melatonin has a non-linear dose response curve... eating the brownies probably does less than taking a single pill for many people hahaha
