So I'm looking at taking MAE316, and the two listed professors for the fall are Hsiao-Ying Huang and Afsaneh Rabiei. I had Rabiei for Statics back in summer of '10 and did well in the class, but I'm on the fence about her general teaching/classroom atmosphere. Never heard of Huang, so any words from anyone with experience between the two maybe?

Rabiei sucks. I was in her 316 class for all of 2 weeks last fall.

I'd pick neither and take it with Mazzoleni during the first Summer session. He's really legit.

lol that is exactly what I was wondering when I read that. Cheryl Heeter right? I remember her office was right outside the senior design computer lab when MAE was in Broughton. Every now and then we'd write haikus on the white board outside her office.

True.. but her Final is (or was) E A S Y. Pretty much all the test and final questions were strait out of the text book. Including stuff that was wrong. So keep that in mind. Also this was 6 years ago so.. she may have changed.

^Iirc he passed away from heart attack/disease a few years back. And shit I had heard Heeter/Tran had hitched up but didn't know about the car accident.
