What might a colleague say are your shortcomings, and how do you plan to overcome them?

I'm not prompt, but I have already overcome this, because i'm prompt when it matters.

shortcomings questions are always a bullshit fest:

My colleagues would probably say I bang my head against problems too long on my own before I get up and ask someone more experienced for help.

Shows that you try to solve your own problems, shows that you expect to get it done yourself, shows that you'll collaborate if you run out of ideas. (Might show that you're not very good at problem solving, but I suppose everyone comes up against problems they need advice on every now and then).

This is how we figure out how well you can say your weakness is that you're strengths are too awesome.

Q:Tell me about a situation in your life outside of school when you have had to make a compromise. How did you overcome this situation?

A:We shall overcome
We shall overcome
We shall overcome some day

^^

I'd say one of your shortcomings is your incorrrect use of "you're."
