its definitely a bit sad, he was so close.

He put together a great lineup and it seemed like things clicked for him last year.

This year was just a total disaster and you cant help but agree it's time to move on. We need someone who will unite the wolfpack nation and bring us to glory.

Glad to see we were good to him on the way out.

Lets go get a great coach. I have a lot of confidence. The media seems to think this isn't a premeire coaching job. They are completely wrong.

Hell, UNC had to go their 5th or 6th choice barely a decade ago. Hiring a coach isn't the easiest thing in the world. People have lives, jobs, recruits, salaries, etc.

We're getting a great coach. The money is there, the talent is there, the facilities are there. And our AD has goals in mind this time. That is a big fucking difference from five years ago.

Lowe will always be welcome in Raleigh. You wouldn't be a true State fan if you hadn't been disappointed in our performance the last 5 years. That said, I was crazy about Lowe. He had 10x the spirit and class that Sendek had. His blazer was fantastic and he was an all-around great guy.

watching Yow's presser now. man, i think she was a home run hire at AD. really impressed by her in her 1st year.

noticed she said that she'd like to bring Sidney back in some sort of role in the university. that would be great. he has such a great and passionate connection to and for the university, i think it would be great to utilize that in some way.

Ommmm....thanks for the '83 Championship and thanks for Harrow/Brown/Leslie/and others.

Sucks that you are not a good head basketball coach. It would have been nice to have a beloved alumni to take us back to prominence, but it just wasn't going to happen. Hope you can get a decent job in your field and keep up the lifestyle you've been accustomed to.

Hickson wouldn't have graduated in 1 year anyway, that doesn't count. Haven't found the orignial yet, but did find this from an article from the wolfpacker, he's actually had all but 2 graduate that have been in the program 4 years.

So I heard that Ryan Harrow and CJ Leslie were flanking Sidney Lowe at the team meeting while the rest of the players lined up to shake the hand of their father figure. Apparently, Lorenzo Brown was near the back of the line and couldn't wait anymore, so he forced his way to the front, knocking over C.J. Williams, Jordan Vandenberg, and Deshawn Painter. When he reached the front of the line, the following exchange took place between Brown and Harrow/Leslie:
