I guess North Korea is a joke, but still...
On the other hand, good job Netflix, I'll probably watch this anyhow.

I, too, encountered the exact same scenario. I had just finished watching CS Season 2 and the rec popped up, so I too watched it. I suppose this is how viewing preference corollary research works. The true reason viewers would prefer both programs? Neither we nor Netflix may truly know, but the math is holding up.
Just something about Chappelle and North Korea I guess.

It's because they don't have comedy or black people in North Korea.
Netflix gets you to watch the Nat Geo special because they know that you'll savor the Chappelle's Show experience even more. 4/3/2011 11:31:49 PM |

Or maybe they just see that a good number of people who watched Chappelle's Show have also watched Natl Geo North Korea.
Chappelle's Show fans are a very well-rounded bunch, ya know. 4/3/2011 11:34:56 PM |

I just figured it out - Chappelle was actually captured and is hiding in North Korea and working as Kim's personal court jester. This is corporate America's secret way of letting us know. COME BACK DAVE! YOU'D STILL BE SOCIALLY RELEVANT, AND I BET YOU DO A HELL OF AN OBAMA IMPERSONATION! 4/3/2011 11:44:13 PM |

Odd suggestion, but good documentary. I recommend it, it was the best of the Nat Geo ones I watched. 4/4/2011 12:35:48 AM |
