http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/dpps/news/fbi-refuses-to-pay-up-after-crashing-seized-%24750%2C000-ferrari-dpgonc-20110415-to_12779865

This may be old, and if so sorry but I did a search for it. Quick summary, a 1996 Ferrari F50 was stolen from a dealership on a test drive and disappeared. Car never showed up on the black market. Thief eventually sells it to a doctor, who discovers his car may be stolen. He reports it to the FBI who seize the vehicle as evidence and prosecute the car thief. The prosecutor and an FBI agent crash the car on a joyride, and now the FBI is denying that they have any responsibility for paying for it, let alone any explanation how these two guys had any business taken a seized Ferrari out for a joyride and wrapped it around a tree. Fucking idiots.

SPOILER ALERT: this thread will contain:

-Pic or quote of Nic Cage as FBI agent in The Rock, when the guy says "you fucked up your Ferrari" and he retorts "It isn't Mine" and steals the bike

AND

-"of course we shouldn't have our tax money pay for blah blah blah"
