i haven't filed taxes since the fall of 2009, and that was for 6-month overdue 2008 taxes.

if they owe you money, they wont remind you until its been three years,

if you owe them money, they have probably already called your boss and taken your paycheck

If the state of NC owed you any refund you wouldn't get it until 2015, or they might just decide the state needs it more than you do and you'll never see it.

^^Wow. I thought they eventually gave everyone their refunds, even if it was almost a year late. The only sure way to get your refund from the state of NC is to file your taxes in January so you can get your check before they realize they have budget problems and Gov. Bev decides the state needs your refund.
