How much would you buy this car for (if you were in the market)...how much would you sell it for?
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/2320464211.html

NADA clean retail says $20,900 which seems really high. I'm trying to make sure I didn't underprice it...

---Additional info not in CL ad---
Front tires were replaced 5k miles ago, rears are getting close to wear bars and will need replaced in another 5k miles or so. Only blemishes is a little curb rash on two wheels (see pics) and a very minor abrasion on the drivers side of the rear bumper (have to get up close to see). Otherwise it's in great shape, no door dings or anything.

MSRP/sticker price was $23,300 + $3020 for the autobahn package + $350 for rear side air bags + $650 dest charge = $27,320.

NADA is always high I've seen, which if your car gets destroyed in an accident or stolen is a good thing since. Car dealers use some form of Kelly Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com), Black Book and other information for pricing your car. Based on Kelly Blue Book you priced your car about right, I got a 17,500 when doing a quick check. Good luck on selling it, I'm about to be in this boat soon.

NADA is way too high to be honest -- I was quoted 20k (final price offered to me) for a 2010 GTI (some update, refreshed looks, interior is much nicer) with 5k miles on it. Only difference would be the autobahn package, the model I almost bought was base.

I think that your price is fine to be honest. If I was a buyer (a normal buyer, not myself personally), I would probably expect a best offer/consideration around 16.5. Once you get around 17+, Id be looking for a 2010+ model, base options, with some miles to get the refreshed interior/exterior (mechanically about the same) as a buyer.

That was a >$3,000 package. I realize that doesn't fully translate to the used market, but still

wait make that 11 times, just got another one of those this morning. Interesting part is they're up to 17k now, so I think I'm going to take that.
