I always stop and think before I say that one because when I hear people say it most times I think they mean "they couldn't care less"

quite frankly, I could care less

"It is what it is"

says NOTHING in five words

EDIT: Also, any question or sentence that starts with "Hey, guy..." I just don't like when anybody refers to me as "guy." I don't like "boss," "chief," or "hoss" either, but "guy" is my least favorite.

"To make a long story short..." usually said after saying the long story but withholding the ending making the story significant.

OR

"my MOM/DAD always gets/uses/does/..." as they're telling you how they want to do something, as in where they go to get their car inspected or what laundry detergent to get

"You are the man." - A coworker overuses this phrase as a replacement for "Thank you."
"He's a pistol." - Same coworker will inevitably use this phrase at some point when talking about his grandson to anyone who will listen.

my wife really hates it when i say "be that as it may"

Quote :
"Let me ask you this:"

whenever i hear this, i expect it to be followed by

Have you ever made love on a couch?

or

Have you ever made love on the back seat of a car?
I remember one time I made love on the back seat of a car
And the police came and shined his light on me, and I said:

I'm strokin', that's what I'm doin', I be strokin'
I stroke it to the east
And I stroke it to the west
And I stroke it to the woman that I love the best
I be strokin'

^^its in the Geneva conventions. You can say anything you want as long as you put "with all due respect" in front of it.

I get a kick out of people who say, "Question" prior to asking you something. I love interrupting them with, "What exactly is a panty-raider?"

You know, from "M.E.T.H.O.D. Man."
