I've got an internship in DC this summer, is anybody else doing the same or know any good areas? I lived in Alexandria, VA while working in DC a couple years ago and got really tired of the commute, so I'd like to look either in DC or Arligton, VA. Thanks!

A good idea would be to not put your full name on this message board. ever.

In all seriousness, Pentagon City area is decent, or most of the Orange Line. Parts of Alexandria are nice, but it isn't as direct to get places other than DC/395. Thomas Circle/Logan Circle/Dupont area is decent and some people like Foggy Bottom, although those areas will be more. Going up the red line you will find some nice areas, but it depends on which (and how far from the) stop.
