You know what? We haven't been cheering and dancing and singing over every attack, every act of violence, everything we've done over the last ten years. We don't cheer every time a Muslim or Afghan or Iraqi gets killed -- certainly not when they're civilians and generally not even if they're enemy combatants.

We got one very bad man and cheered.

They* got thousands of good (or at least neutral) ones and cheered.

*-Just to be perfectly clear, "they" refers to the crowds that cheered 9/11, not -- as I'm sure someone will accuse me of saying -- the entire Muslim world.
