Where to go?
Know of any good/reasonably priced places for couples dancing lessons?
Know of any good places with live music (Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, jazz stuff) and dancing?
Know of any good places with live music and dancing that isn't club humping and disco grinding?

There's a russian dancer Inga who gives lessons but she might have moved to greensboro...used to be out of Durham. Marie and Wayne Crowder are also great resources for lessons but I cannt remember exactly where their studio is. As for music plus general dancing I'm not sure, the nc state ballroom dance club meets weekly. They likely have some club stuff going on over the summer, like group specials to the mentioned dance instructors.
Group lessons would be good to check into. The Crowders and Inga are competition-grade instructors.
Red room has basic lesson and dance nights for latin style dances on Thursdays. Keep an eye on your woman though, the mexicans will swoop in the first chance they get . There are shag clubs around but I do not know them.
