I think the cavs should take williams #1 and roll the dice on one of those foreign centers at #2. The risk is higher but the potential reward on those guys is much better than a pg. There will be guards all the time and they have 2 second round picks that they can use on leftover guards like nolan smith.

I am also excited for the knicks to go for the jimmer. I think dantonecould nashionalize him in that offense.

no need to trade up, if anything i would be ok with the 'Cats trading one of the picks for a pick next year. i don't know what kind of value you'll find at #19, but they should at least be able to fill a huge need in a scoring SG or SF at #9.

"And a little scoring." Nothing drastic. Just a young athlete who knows his role. Smith developed a relationship with Hickson during their freshmen year at N.C. State. Hickson declared for the draft after that season and the Cavs selected him with the 19th overall pick in 2008. They remain close today, and Smith believes having Hickson in his ear only helps. "Me and J.J. grew up together, played AAU and (at) the ABCD camp, and bonded real well," Smith said. "We stayed in the same room and shared an apartment. I've been talking to him and he's been telling me more about the NBA. He said it's tough, it's very physical and you have to bring it every night. Otherwise you'll be in trouble." Right now, bringing it every night, or in every workout, is exactly what Smith is trying to do.
