The sad part about both of these incidents is that they can primarily attributed to both parties willfully neglecting the most abundant natural resource on the planet. So they sweat like Patrick Ewing and have nothing to replenish the fluids except Busch Light and Jungle Juice. The only surprise is that its only been two thus far. 6/14/2011 2:09:33 PM |

there are death(s) every year.
seem to be getting more publicized.
having been to a few, it's understandable as to how.
scary though, and sad. 6/14/2011 2:15:28 PM |

they have free water stations with a couple dozen spigots on them scattered across the farm, and they are well marked on the property map/stage schedules.
you're allowed to carry in bottles, nalgenes, and camelbaks to fill up at the stations.
the years ive gone, i'd routinely fill up my 3L camelbak around 4 times per 24 hours.
actually last time they were giving away free bottles by one of the filling stations.
(a couple of years ago, all points west was a shitstorm compared to how well roo is run, in terms of water. there was ONE one spot water fountain for the entire festival, with no bottles to be allowed in. granted, this was near new york city, in like september, but still)
