Yea I know I just spammed this all over fb but oh well. I just sent the email to corporate as it was the only one I could find. I might call the actual theater later.

HERE IS THE FB GROUP LINK: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=193456800706157

All the basic info is there but for those that are lazy
Trying to have a Deathly Hallows Double Feature at North Hills on part 2 premiere night

I would do this. Not for $40 a ticket. But $20 I would do.

I need to know soon though! Tickets for IMAX at midnight go on sale today. And I'm heading there unless some place is doing a double feature.

^^if he is let me know?

just got an email back from corporate. looking like tix should only be around $20 (10 per movie)

Quote :
"Hi Kate,

Based on what you are looking to do, you’ll need to book through my department as well as our sister company. Here is a breakdown of who can do what:

National Cinemedia (sister company)- Can book Part 1 at North Hills for a 8 or 9pm showing. You will want to call them at 1-888-327-6338 for details on this screening.

Group Sales (my group)- Can book the mid night showing of part 2 at North Hills. We require a full buy out of an auditorium. The auditoriums that are currently available are:

140 seats

192 seats

Or 288 seats

The seat rate is $10.00 and so if you purchased the 288, you would be looking at 288 seats @ $10.00 per seat=$2,880.00. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about my group’s screenings or if you want to start the approval process for the midnight showing.

Thanks

Kylene Okray

Group Sales Manager"

so we need at least 140 people. SPREAD THE WORD OK THANKS

The theater will only get a small percentage of that.

It's still weird to me to see/hear Candy, I'm pretty much forbidden from using that name lolol. Not that I would in the first place.

As her boyfriend, I guess I'm on for this double feature if it happens, it's her fault in the first place that I even saw a HP movie

Candy and I did theatre together! She's so bubbly and awesome.

I was Princess Jasmine in the one-act play she wrote as a parody on Disney Princesses.

So are they going to require that you presell tickets to this?

Or just sell tickets as people come in?

Cause if you are renting the theater that holds 140 people but only 40 people show up, are you responsible for the remanining $$?

It might be best to sell tickets before hand so you know how many people to expect. And if you are going to be out a ton of $$$ if nobody shows

i've gotta talk to the company in charge of it all, they will probably email me back mondayish but yea i am so not in charge tickets and money. i just know that we need 140 people to buy the tickets to pull it off b/c i'm not wasting texas $ on this.

They'll require payment in full in advance, and then you would have to get paid by the people who came. I can't imagine you making this happen without cutting a check for >$2000 up front.

i really look forward to it.
