The Charlotte Hounds are a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) professional men's field lacrosse expansion franchise that will begin play in the 2012 MLL season along with Ohio Machine as part of the league's plan to have 16 teams by 2020.[1] The team is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.[2] The team will play home games at American Legion Memorial Stadium.[1]

that's cool - I go to the Bayhawks games all the time up here in Annapolis. it's amazing watching outdoor lacrosse at that level. It's made me want college to integrate a shot clock

Jesus Christ, at least have the goddamn common courtesy to take the brackets off when you copy paste from wikipedia.

And you wonder why you have no direction in life.

i remember when they had a vote on facebook for the team name, but alas i am not on facebook so i could not participate.

they certainly could have done worse than "Hounds"

i'll go catch a few games, i used to play and i enjoy watching sports and drinking beer. always fun.

Depending on what players end up there, I may head out for a game or two.

don't forget the other 85 high school teams in the state

the odd thing about the MLL is that the stars don't always play because of their day jobs. not uncommon to have a game where a star goalie or FOGO is just not there. but it's also impressive that they have been successful enough to expand this far. it's not uncommon to get 3k or more people out on a saturday in Annapolis
