Ok sorry need some input. as already posted this is my bedroom. I will most likely will paint it a light grey over time.

as you can see in the pic. there is a zebra rug, my zebra blanket and the small zebra pic over my bed.




That zebra pic is too small.

So I wanted to get a bigger pic and originally thought ok zebra one.



But then I really like these two, but don't want to throw off the room style.

GoldenGirl I just painted my guest bedroom a nice gray color. Behr's silver screen. I suggest you check out the color. I love it. It's a warmer gray but isn't too dark. I have some pictures on Facebook but I am on my iPad and don't know how to link.

no we already discussed our dislike for each other on multiple occasions its nothing new to tww.

^ there is no purple in the room...ya i bought the furniture on a volunteer's budget, new furniture is next on my list esp. a new bed. that's why i have bed raisers.

I have visible bed risers

but I also have a weirdo dog who seriously gets anxious if my bed isn't high enough for him to crawl under... the bed risers are a necessary evil, otherwise I wouldn't bother

I dunno if you have a mirror in the room or not...but I'd put a large mirror over the bed with a black frame or colored frame instead of a picture. or a bunch of small mirrors.

I didn't say anything about the furniture being bad. You don't gotta be baller or nothing. But you can get or have sewn a longer bed skirt or move the bed skirt down and cover your box spring BAM, bed risers hidden.

The curtains look purple with the light coming through. Now I see that they are black, which only has me more worried. If you think that solid black, grey, and white topped off with a zebra fetish is an appropriate design scheme, then you haven't been at this long enough. DO NOT spend any money on new furniture...you haven't stopped to consider what you're doing.

I mean, you're like all super educated and career-minded or whatever. I'm betting you haven't had the time to peruse that many design books or magazines or consider different swatches and whatnot. You need to slow down and think a little bit longer on this.

i would probably go with the new zebra picture

i don't really like either of the other two pictures in black and white, especially the bridge (really, i don't think i would like the bridge picture in color either because of the angle), but i don't think color versions of either picture would really go with the room--especially if you paint it grey.
