Pretty much when i logged in, all the suggestions were people i emailed to buy shit on craigslist like 5 years ago and none of the people that i actually know / email semi-regularly (and have G+) are no where to be found and they don't show up in the search thing.

Also google should just scrape people's facebook accounts and compile them if they actually want people to use this shit. No one wants to rebuilt a social network entirely off shot in the dark suggestions

Actually, rebuilding a social network sounds pretty appealing, there are lots on my friends list that i would prefer not be there but don't want to can just yet.

technically, yes.

on the edit circle page, click on a circle and then select view in tab.
under more options in the upper-right, select all
then drag selected names to the circle you want

it would be easier, and it most likely will happen in the future, to have the ability to drag a circle to a circle

How do you edit who shows up in your Chat list? At one point I told G+ to put my circles into my Chat list, but now I want to remove one of my circles from showing up. I can't find it in any of the settings.

hover over the person's name in the chat list that you dont want showing up, click More, click "Never show"
