Anyone else download this app? It's free and I just listened to/watched the Linkin Park concert. Pretty good stuff. I am really looking forward to the Foo Fighters concert on Monday.

I went to a Linkin Park Concert back in college. It was actually decent. Cypress Hill opened up. They were awful.

It was all high school girls that came up to my armpits. I walked right up to the front of the floor and saw everything perfect. Including two 13 year old girls making out a fingering each other over their shorts.

I guess the point of this thread was to discuss the lineup, especially since I am not familiar with most of the bands. But if a bunch of hipsters want to trash my musical taste, that's fine too.

The only interesting/relevant things on that lineup are Adele, Raphael Saadiq, and Mogwai, and even those are stretches.

Linkin Park puts on a fun show. I wasn't expecting to like it when I went to their Projekt Revolution tour a few years ago, but it was actually pretty entertaining.

After the Colour & the Shape, they've put out nothing but boring records (although I like the first track on the third one).

The Colour & the Shape was fifteen years ago.

"Wasting Light debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 235,000 copies in the United States.[13] It is the band's first number-one album in the US and their second-highest sales week, following In Your Honor's first-week sales of 311,000 copies in 2005.[13] Wasting Light has sold 341,000 copies in the US as of May 6, 2011"

While I agree that their newest album isn't their best, and I appreciate your opinion on the band, I would hardly say that they are irrelevant. They might be the biggest rock band in the world right now.

^^ Well, considering you quoted sales figures, and considering The Suburbs has sold more copies than Wasting Light...sure.

Some band that is even more obscure than an "indie" band is the most popular in the world. Right
