super rough idle, half the power it should have. cel light comes on after a few mins then later starts to flash(. codes are random misfire, misfire in cylinders #1 &4 .
my initial thought was rear valve cover but that seems like that would cause misfires on the back cylinders 1,3,5. now i'm think it could be the o2 sensor or a bad cat any helpful thoughts or insight on this?

This looks like it belongs in the garage...

That said- I cant recall the firing order on those, but I believe it has 3 coils firing directly on the front bank with slaves on the rear. If the same coil fires 1&4 it would be your most likely culprit.

Just did a bit of research... it appears that 1 and 4 do share a coil... I believe #1 is the pass. side rear cylinder, #4 is front center. try unplugging the coil and see if it runs any differently. If it makes no difference, replace the coil
