i just installed xp sp2 on an old computer. after i installed the wireless usb and logged onto my network, most of the pages aren't loading, especially windows update. i can get the twc dns page, but what am i missing here?

try putting firefox portable on a usb stick and downloading the sp3 it redistributable package.

sp3 d/l and install went great

i still can't access windows update or windows activation. i could get to windows update in safe mode with networking (activate needs normal). wtf

did you try the standard network fix-it stuff? flushing DNS, checking firewall, scanning for malware?
