If those are the choices, then it's Papa Johns, and it's not even really close for me. 7/24/2011 5:20:25 PM |

where are you ordering from... from my local delivery choices, I'd say dominos (b/c Papa Johns, even when you ask for it well done, undercooks the pizza here). Pizza hut is not even an option, unless it is time for some lunch buffet 7/24/2011 5:21:59 PM |

jeddah, saudi arabia
and yes, those are the only 3 options
(oh shit, there is also pizza fusion, which is the bomb, but i think they are closed by now... 12:25 am here)

Domino's is still super bland, even after they re-did their pizza
Pizza Hut is too greasy
to me an overdone, extra sauce Papa John's pizza with the garlic sauce hits the spot if I'm in the mood for delivery (chain) pizza 7/24/2011 5:26:29 PM |

haha well then I would have to assume papa johns? but I don't know how they do things out there- I know mcdonalds is worlds better in foreign countries, so maybe the same applies to greasy pizza hutt? 7/24/2011 5:27:10 PM |

i remember pizza hut pizza now... cuz that's the one i have had the most and the most recently a year ago.
think crust: not greasy, not bad
thick/normal crust: greasy greasy crust
stuffed crust: a bit greasier than thin crust, but still ok/good

having had pizza over in the middle east, i'll say go with Papa Johns. Pizza Hut and Dominos both change their recipes to fit "regional tastes," so it's not the same thing.
Enjoy Jeddah! My father lived there from 86-87 helping the Saudis set up some military hospitals. Pretty decent city. 7/24/2011 5:32:41 PM |

Over here by State, I'd go with this order of best to worst:
Papa John's
Domino's
Pizza Hut 7/24/2011 5:35:59 PM |

I don't remember anything about Pizza Hut, haven't had it in ages. Papa Johns by far wins in terms of taste, their crust is better as well, but Dominos can be cheaper (5 dollar mediums with 2 toppings if you get two or more, etcetera) 7/24/2011 5:37:05 PM |

i usually get papa johns or marcos. i do like pizza hut pan pizza but it is EXTREMELY greasy. haven't eaten dominos pizza in like...10 years probably
but if you're eating pizza for the first time in a year i wouldn't get it from ANY of those places. is there not another option? 7/24/2011 5:37:30 PM |

From my experience with Papa John's (The one at Western and Avent) the pizza was so thin, it was like a sheet of very dry paper, with a few toppings sprinkled on.
I've always preferred the "plushness" of Domino's pizza. Then again, I don't get pizza often enough to really consider myself some aficionado of the different chains. 7/24/2011 5:39:21 PM |

ever since the revamp, dominos for normal/ thin crust or pizza hut if I'm in the mood for a pan or stuffed crust pizza
papa johns if there is a sweet coupon going and I want something different

well the menus are somewhat different, but i am sure their overall techniques/recipes/secrets would be quite similar to their american counterparts.

i cant really get into papa johns...sauce is too sweet for one...dont like their dough for two. it's servicable, but i'd take dominos pan and pizza hut thin in that order before it. 7/24/2011 7:19:57 PM |

Papa Johns is probably the best of the 3 (although yeah sometimes it's not cooked as much as I like)
Dominos is next, and cheapest of the 3.
Pizza hut is easily the worst. Especially the pan pizza, it's like they just pour melted crisco into the crust while it's baking. 7/25/2011 8:50:55 AM |

Maybe my tastes have changed, but Pizza Hut is garbage compared to how it used to seem in the 90s. The crust seems sweeter and a lot less crisp. 8/9/2011 9:21:20 AM |

To be honest I've only had it once in the last 4-5 years (it was less than a year ago). I am tempted to take advantage of their current $10 carry out deal. $10 for a large meat lovers pizza? How can I say no? 8/9/2011 9:30:12 AM |
