I watch a lot of movies on my computer, and I'm also going to be hooking my ps3 to it, so I need it to have hdmi ports. I don't know much about the technical side of monitors, so if you can make suggestions that would be great. Thanks.

why 27"?

If your computer has HDMI output on it you'd be MUCH better served with just a TV (provided you can sit back a little - TV backlighting is usually searingly bright at close range.)

I'd look for a nice Samsung or maybe a panasonic plasma (they're really picky with resolutions though). Both will serve well as a TV, but the LCD will fare better on the gaming side.

I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion. LCDs are notorious for input lag. Plasmas aren't much better but the best are Panasonic plasmas.

Are LED Monitors any good or does it depend on the refresh rate?

What is the crisp-ist type monitor you can buy for a PC that isn't apple branded?

^Dell used to offer the same panels as Apple uses in the Cinema Display. Can't remember which models they are but they should still have the 27". I think retail on the Dell is higher but it's Dell so there's a sale every other week.
