What are some of the defects you have on your body. I have a 3rd nipple below my left nipple. It even has hair growing around it. Apparently 1 in 18 men and 1 in 50 women have a 3rd nipple, and since we have more than 18 men here, I expect more than one person to fess up.
I also had a 2nd bone in my jaw that overlapped another bone. I ended up removing it myself (probably not a good idea). It didn't hurt and it fully healed though. 7/31/2011 12:47:26 PM |

i have a large birthmark on my neck that is whitish. not bad until i get burnt or something and it stays that color lol. i think one of my collarbones sticks out noticeably further. judging from my shoe wear, i either slant heavily while walking or have one leg noticeably larger than the other. shit wears out in the strangest ways. 7/31/2011 1:41:13 PM |

I've got a mild to moderate case of pectus excavatum. I haven't had enough issues with it to justify corrective surgery, but it can be frustrating at times, as I do notice the impact it has on my breathing abilities if I exert myself too much - sometimes feel like I just can't get a deep enough breath to fill my lungs properly. With that, I have a mild heart murmur. However, I'm not sure if it's independent of the pectus or not, as that can sometimes encourage heart murmurs (per wiki at least). 7/31/2011 2:33:33 PM |

My sternum isn't straight, but actually curves inwards as it goes down from my neck. Gives the impression of a "dent" in my chest where my sternum is. The major physical issues, other than cosmetics, include the fact that my lungs etc are full size but my chest cavity volume is decreased, meaning my lungs can't necessarily be used to their full capacity.7/31/2011 3:27:30 PM |

Damn, judging by all your "defects", I'm feeling pretty normal over here. The only thing I have (or get) is occasionally a black hair or two will grow out of my chin. That's all though. Never noticed anything else "weird". Y'all are some freaks!!! LOL
Oh, yeah and I'm "double jointed" in my hips, thumbs, and knuckles (which really only means I can move them in an awkward way/pop them in and out of joint.

Regarding the pectus business/pigeon chestedness: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigeon_chested
Same here, not too severe, but I can kind of feel lopsided pressure on my lungs when I breathe in deeply and my ribcage is a bit retarded. My lower two ribs on both sides also jut out a bit at like a 30 degree angle.
Also, skin tags in random places: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skin_tag
Outside of that my defects are more micro scale than macro scale. Diabetes, severe allergies to just about everything in the universe, mental health issues, acid reflux issues, blood pressure, blahblahblah. To make up for all that I'm smart and driven, but damn talk about your compromises. 7/31/2011 6:30:57 PM |

I, too, have this. Skwinkle is correct. I, too, feel like I sometimes have a hard time taking a deep enough breath. This condition is kind of why I started running - to increase my ability to breathe better.7/31/2011 6:38:42 PM |

My right side is slightly smaller than my left. Smaller shoe size (~1/2-1/3 of a size, right leg a 1/4" shorter, right collarbone and shoulder not quite as broad as my left. Also have off kilter abs.
It's really barely noticeable but it does bother me on occasion. I think it's a combination of dominate side with sleeping on my right side the most growing up. 8/1/2011 12:05:45 AM |

At some point in my life (probably when it came in), my 13th tooth (see below) twisted 180 degrees.
I remember my Dentist asked me if I ever had pain there and asked him why and he told me.
The other defects I have are due to scars.

When I moved down south I would get sunburned while riding in the car...I hailed from a place with averages in the low 70s during the summer. First summer in NC I had some ketchup from Mickey D's stuck on my cheek that I was unaware of. It anti-bleached (blackened?) my skin to where it looks like a fairly visible gray birthmark. True story.
I have a double jointed ankle.
My bottom gum-line is receding...will eventually have to take tissue from my palate and replace my front bottom gums
