This thread is for all discussion for the on-going PS3 dynasty that myself, Boobs, cheezit and akaseinfeld have. Anyone else is welcome to comment, we just needed a place to post discussion and to know when we will advance. Have at it, and Go UCLA! 8/2/2011 12:37:04 AM |

Go baylor!!!! Won 31-7 in my week 1 game vs Memphis(who sucks) Played in the rain so my qb basically looked like jay davis. Rain is the great equalizer in NCAA12. U guys have some recruiting to do then off to week 2! 8/2/2011 12:44:45 AM |

the 360 league just advanced to week 7 (not posting this as any kind of shit talking)
The E Man's suggestions about not having too many teams in the same conference has worked pretty well so far, as we only average about 1-2 user v. user games a week in a 12 team league, which has helped us be able to advance a good bit
have they released any system updates on PSN yet for the game? theres been 1 for 360 but they're supposed to add another sometime in August to fix some of the freezing and gameplay issues] 8/2/2011 10:17:45 PM |

UCLA begins the season with a 41-0 win over the University of Buffalo. The Bruins got help from a Special Teams and Defensive Touchdown to add to their points total. The defense was especially stingy only allowing 74 total yards to the Bulls anemic offense. However, there will need to be some tweaks to a Bruin offense that at times had trouble getting a consistent running game going. Not to worry in this game as the Bruins used numerous short fields to put up 27 points of offense to go on and rout the Buffalo Bulls, 41-0.
Bruin Offensive Stat Leaders:
QB #12: 7-16, 126 yds, 2 TD HB #23: 11 rushes for 38 yds and 1 TD. WR #83: 3 receptions for 63 yds and 1 TD. WR #80: 1 reception for 25 yds and 1 TD.
Bruin Defensive Stat Leaders: SS#6: 6 solo tackles, 1 ATK, 2 TFL FS#19: 1 solo, 2 ATK, 1 INT RET for TD LE#94: 1 solo, 5 ATK, 3 TFL, 2 SK ROLB#11: 5 solo, 1 ATK, 2 TFL
I subbed my starters out after the 3rd quarter and played in chew clock mode the entire 4th. 8/3/2011 12:16:41 AM |

In this week's user vs user game, Baylor defeated Hawaii 42-28. In a game that was a lot closer than the score, the Baylor Bears FS#10 intercepted the Hawaii QB's pass with the score 35-28 and Hawaii driving to seal the win late in the 4th quarter. The passing game was definitely on display in this matchup with over 750 passing yards between the to teams.
I'd also like to apologize and thank akaseinfeld for starting the game back up in the 3rd qtr with me being up a td and having the ball after a storm knocked my power out last night. Big ups to him. 8/3/2011 11:25:38 PM |

UCLA puts a spike into their Offensive Punch against San Jose State as they come away with the 35-0 win. UCLA racks up 393 yards of offense as they hold San Jose State to only 109 total yards. The First quarter was just abysmal for the Bruins as they were held to three separate 3 and outs as nothing seemed to work. The second quarter started the assault though as the Bruins put together three separate scoring drives pumping out over 150 yards for the quarter. The Bruins could have put more points on the board, however a fumble and an interception in the red zone during the 3rd quarter thwarted those chances. The Bruins move to 2-0 on the short season and show hope for continuuing the great season with a lively offense and a stone cold defense.
Top Performers:
Offense: QB #12: 15-26 280 yds, 4 TD, 1 INT HB #23: 16 rushes for 107 yds and 1 TD WR #83: 5 receptions for 72 yds and 1 TD. WR #10: 4 receptions for 105 yds and 2 TD. WR #82: 2 receptions for 62 yds and 1 TD.

In what proved to be an immense struggle, Hawaii manages to come back on Washington and squeak out a 7 pt win, 45-38. This was perhaps one of the ugliest games ABC has ever televised, and thank God that it wasn't shown on the East coast. Hawaii struggled from the onset, as this was the first time roughly 50% of their team had experienced football in the rain. The warrior wideouts struggled with their footing the entire game, and the QB spent most of the first half throwing to Washington (5 int). Hawaii trailed for almost the entire game, including giving up a 75 yd TD on a Hail Mary as the first half came to an end. However, in the 2nd half the Warrior defense rose to the occasion sacking the Husky QB 4 times and shutting down the Husky running game. In the end Hawaii's QB hit WR #81 on an 80 yd slant with 1 minute 30 seconds to go in the game to give the Warriors the win.
Top Performers:
Offense: QB #17: 21-38 505 yds, 6 TD, 5 INT WR #81: 7 receptions for 241 yds and 2 TD WR #34: 7 receptions for 201 yds and 2 TD. WR #84: 3 receptions for 29 yds and 1 TD. WR #85: 1 receptions for 11 yds and 1 TD.
Defense: MLB #50: 9 tkl, 3 tfl, 1 sk LOLB #24: 6 tkl, 2 TFL, 1 SK SS #19: 7 tkl , 1 TFL FS #37: 4 tkl, 2 TFL, 1 sk
In recruiting news, the Warriors landed their first commitment of the 2011 season. Ryan Willis, a 6'3" 205 lb QB out of California chose Hawaii over Stanford and UCLA. He cited the opportunity to take Hula dancing as an elective as the deciding factor in his commitment to the Warriors. Willis is a 3 star QB and should look to compete for playing time in the 2012 season as the Warriors boast 2 senior QBs.

In one of the greatest low scoring battles I've ever played, the Baylor Bears squeaked by the relentless Minnesota Gophers. The Gophers took the early lead on a 26 yd jump ball TD thrown to WR#81. On the first play after that kickoff the Baylor QB threw his first INT of the game and the Gophers dominated the ball for the rest of the quarter. (lol i had 1 play that qtr and it was an INT). In the second quarter, the two teams continued the field position battle unti with 1:57 to go in the half, Bears QB #10 hit a streaking WR#2 for a 52yd TD. The Bears scored again 54 seconds later after a quick INT thrown by the Gophers' QB#5 led to a 22yd TD pass to Bears TE#20. After the half, the defensive battle continued for almost 10 minutes until after a 90 yard drive, Baylor QB hit his fullback for a 4yd TD on 3rd and goal to seemingly ice the game up 21-7 with 1:27 to go........but in a way only NCSU fans can relate to, the Gophers drove down the field on Baylr and 40 seconds later were in their endzone via jump ball caught in the endzone by WR#6 wth 2 defenders all over him to make it 21-14.....now an onside is the Gophers' only hope. It was a great onside kick as the ball bounced off the player controlled WR#3 and into the Gophers player's hands with 35 seconds to go. QB#5 again lead his team down the field and with 2 seconds left, was looking at 3rd and goal from the 4yd line. The game deciding play ended as QB#5 had seemingly completed the game-tying TD only to have ROLB#19 of the Bears jar the ball loose to end the game. The Bears escaped with a victory but will need to definitely work on their pass D if they want to competer for the conference title. Minnesota suffered a tough loss but the future looks bright as soon as they can get their ground game going. Only 500yds of total offense in this game for both teams combined.
Top Performers:
Offense: Baylor QB#10: 10-18 163yds 3TDs 2INTs, 6 rushes 21 yards Minnesota WR#81: 3 catches 71 yds 1 TD
Defense: Baylor CB#30: 3 solo, 2 atk, 1 INT, 1 Defl Baylor CB#2: 2 solo, 1 ak, 2 INT, 41 INT yds, 2 defl Baylor ROLB#19: 2 solo, 2 Sacks, 1 dfl Minnesota ROLB#4: 6 solo, 1 atk, 1 INT Minnesota MLB#51: 2 solo, 7 atk, 1 INT, .5 Sacks

Gents, whats the deal with all the restarts? 8/5/2011 1:37:33 AM |
akaseinfeld All American 1608 Posts user info edit post |
if you are referring to me, I had to burn my once a season restart as the breaker in my 450 sq ft closet of an apartment flipped because I was running the microwave, george foreman, and can opener the same time....hazards of trying to get by cheap in an expensive city.
Also idk why it says 2 restarts, the only time I restarted was after the breaker flip, so I am not sure if the power cuts off if it says 2 restarts or what.
